MENEN – House of Boards (HoB), the new consultancy and networking organization that aims to assist SMEs, has signed a cooperation agreement with Belfius. In the Ypres-Menen-Kortrijk region, companies that are clients of HoB will thus be able to attract capital more easily and on better terms. House of Boards was founded by Christof Vermeersch, who has gathered around him some 90 seasoned entrepreneurs to provide appropriate advice where useful and necessary.
In a strategic alliance, House of Boards, consultancy partner for companies, and Belfius Kortrijk-Menen-Ieper have joined forces to provide companies with better and faster guidance, support and financing. So reads the official statement. With this collaboration, both want to highlight the fact that 1 + 1 can be more than 2 and can therefore do even more for the growth of companies.
The partnership between House of Boards (HoB) and Belfius creates a synergy where strategic guidance and financial expertise go hand in hand. Entrepreneurs benefit on the one hand from HoB’s integrated approach that helps them overcome challenges and seize opportunities, and on the other from the financial partnership that Belfius can offer. Through this combination, companies can count on two partners who support them even more thoroughly every step of the way.
Together is better
For Christof Vermeersch, CEO of HoB, the collaboration is obvious because they serve the same customers. “Our common goal is to have customers develop as well as possible: the stronger the customers the better for everyone,” Vermeersch said. “We can strengthen each other where necessary. Thanks to the partnership with Belfius, there is a much more direct line and we can offer a broader concept.”
Willem Allaert, managing partner Belfius Business, Private & Wealth Center, agrees and the objective is to find each other, get involved in files and, above all, spar on a regular basis so that clients benefit. He also believes that together they will be able to make a difference faster with companies.
Growing businesses
The need among companies today is very broad, according to House of Boards. Consequently, it offers a range of services such as company monitoring, sending experts or a specific task force to uncover or solve problems and finding financing from private investors.
“Through our network, consisting of some 90 professionals with diverse backgrounds, we offer strategic framing and the right added value at the right time,” emphasizes Vermeersch “We ensure that companies can grow effectively by supporting them with advice and action. Our focus is on offering guidance so that companies not only survive, but thrive in their sector and activity.”
